Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) can help students with dyslexia, ADHD and other learning differences to access support at university. It is not means-tested and does not usually need to be repaid.
DSA may help fund specialist software, assistive technology training, study skills support, mentoring, equipment and extra study-related costs.
A dyslexia assessment report will show whether dyslexia is present, how reading, writing, spelling or processing skills are affected, what support may be helpful, and what reasonable adjustments may be needed.
Apply as early as possible. You do not have to wait until problems become serious.
I provide dyslexia assessments for students who need evidence for university support, DSA, exam arrangements and study planning.
