Booking
Appointments are confirmed once agreed by both parties and the deposit has been paid. The deposit is deducted from the final assessment fee and is normally non refundable, as the assessment time has been reserved and is not available for other clients.
Cooling-off period
Where an assessment is booked at a distance, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking. If you ask for the assessment to take place within this period you are expressly requesting that the assessment service begins before the cooling-off period has ended. If an assessment is cancelled after it has begun, a report will not be provided. You will be charged a proportionate amount for the assessment and other work completed up to the point of cancellation.
Fees
Fees are payable as agreed before the assessment report is released.
Cancellations
Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. The booking deposit is normally non-refundable, but an appointment may be rescheduled without an additional charge. Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at my discretion.
Dyslexia Assessment Terms
The assessment includes the assessment session, a written report, and a feedback discussion. Reports are based on the information available at the time of the assessment and represent the assessor's professional opinion. Assessment reports are intended to inform educational, workplace, or support planning. Acceptance of recommendations by third parties remains at their discretion.
Confidentiality
Information will be treated confidentially, except where disclosure is required by law or where written permission has been given by the client.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, please contact Dyslexia Tests UK in the first instance so that the matter can be investigated and resolved.
